Privacy policy

We collect the minimum information needed to run, measure, and improve the service.

What we collect

We collect your email address, hair profile answers, session information, payment status, and limited analytics events. Payment details are handled by Stripe. Anonymous quiz responses are stored to deliver your match and improve the service, and are not linked to your identity unless you create an account.

Analytics and measurement

We use Plausible for aggregate site analytics and Meta Pixel/CAPI for advertising measurement and checkout attribution. Result and paywall analytics use only coarse hair traits such as hair type, scalp condition, and porosity. We do not sell your hair profile or payment data.

How we store it

Anonymous quiz responses, member profile data, and membership data are stored in Supabase infrastructure, with hosting regions that may include Australia and Singapore. Payment records are stored by Stripe.

Deletion

Members can delete their saved hair profile and match history at any time from their account. Anonymous quiz responses can be deleted on request by contacting [email protected]. Email support with the address connected to your account if you want us to manually delete broader profile and membership records where we are legally allowed to do so.

Privacy rights

We aim to respect the Australian Privacy Act and GDPR-style rights to access, correction, and deletion where they apply.
